Make sure you have good baby shower invitations and you can be sure to create a lot of interest. The invitation should be unique to the child that will be entering the world soon enough.
Etiquette
When planning a baby shower you should always practice good etiquette. The most important of these rules is who will be hosting the baby shower for the mother or family to be. Traditionally, it was that someone not related to the family would host the baby shower for the family to be but that is no longer the case today. In present time family, co-workers and friends have become the go to person for hosting the baby shower for the mother to be.
Timing
Given that pregnancies run for nine months selecting the best time for a baby shower can be a tough task. Hosting the baby shower about 2 months before the baby is due is normally a good rule of thumb. Having the baby shower about two months prior to the expectancy date is also good because the baby will be past the second trimester where most complications with pregnancies typically happen if any.
Post Pregnancy Baby Shower
Nowadays a lot of families are waiting until after the birth of the baby to have their baby showers. Although it is not as traditional as having the baby shower before the baby is born, this is great because not only does it helps the parents, it is also great for friends and family because they get to celebrate and see the baby all at the same time. this is also beneficial because it reduces the risk of guest getting the wrong items. If a baby shower is going to be given after the baby is born, it is best to wait at least two months after. Places for these types of baby showers can be anywhere from parks, restaurants or a home. These types of showers is also great for those parents who do not wish to know the baby's gender in advance.
